The Northwood High School Arts Education Foundation (NHSAEF) is a community initiative dedicated to ensuring excellence in arts education by identifying, creating, and supporting programs that enrich learning, foster student achievement, and increase community involvement.

Since 2007, the foundation has presented $20,000 in college scholarships to graduating Northwood seniors for achievements in choral music, dance, instrumental music, theatre arts, and visual arts.

Northwood High School, in Pittsboro, NC, is part of the Chatham County School System. Chris Blice is principal, and Leslie Burwell chairs the Arts Education Department.
