WEEK 4 (April 21, 23)
Parts of a paper: Results, Discussion, Methods
In class, we will be discussing more sections of a technical paper.  Students who are writing a research paper will write an outline for their results or methods section, using any existing report on their work as a starting point, or using existing data from their research.  Students who are writing review papers will begin sketching an outline for the body of their paper.  In a peer review session, students will give feedback on these outlines and on the introductions they have written as homework.
N.B. Bring with you a print out of any SURF paper or other report that you will be using as the basis for your paper.  Remember to bring a print out of your homework for peer review.
