In 1986 Giles Reaves recorded and produced his first solo project. He used the name “Selig Productions” for his production company simply because Selig is “Giles” backwards. It stuck, and he has used it as a production company name every since.

Giles Reaves leads the consummate musical life as recording engineer, studio musician, and recording artist. Giles moved to Nashville and began his recording career in 1982 where he met studio engineer Marshall Morgan and producer Jim Ed Norman. He worked with them as a studio assistant for the following two years. He was immediately hooked and has been in the studio ever since.
