The Great Depression
This podcast looks at the causes of the Great Depression and then at the impact on the USA. The first part will focus on how the US economy was struggling by the end of the 1920s and how the Wall Street Crash led to the deepening of the depression. The latter part will explore the impact of the depression on America - it will focus on the effects in the cities and countryside, the unemployment, homelessness and political fallout from the depression.
