Statement of Faith
We believe and promote:

      1.  That all scripture, inerrant in the original writings, to be God’s plenary and verbally inspired revelations.  It is the supreme and final authority. (2 Peter 1:21; 2 Timothy 3:16)

      2.  One God, eternally existing in three persons Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  They can not be separated, having the same nature, attributes, personality and perfection.  They are the creator and sustainer of everything that is. (Mark 12:19; John 10:30; Matthew 3:16,17)

      3.  The personality and deity of the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.  His incarnation by means of the virgin birth, who lived a perfect life without sin.  His death on the cross by his own volition as the only propitiatory and substitutionary atonement for sin.  His victory over death and Satan by His bodily resurrection, providing justification for all true believers.  His return to heaven as intercessor.  His future personal return to earth as Lord and King.  (Galatians 4:4,5; 1 Timothy 3:16; John 1:12, 14, 18; Acts 1:10,11)

      4.  The personality and deity of the Holy Spirit.  Who is the solitary, infallible interpreter of the scripture.  Who regenerates, indwells and seals all true believers at the moment of salvation.  (Galatians 4:6; Romans 8:26,27; John 15:26; John 14:17; 16:13; Ephesians 1:13)

      5.  That man was created by God in the image of God.  That the first man, Adam, sinned, lost his original righteousness and came under condemnation and death.  Hence, all persons are born with a sinful human nature and are separated from God.  (Genesis 1:26, 27; 3:9-19; Romans 5:12-14; 3:10,11)

      6.  That salvation is by God’s grace through a personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.  That nothing but His shed blood can cleanse from sin.  That no person can exercise such faith apart from the Holy Spirit’s leading.  That sin after justification should be confessed, but has no effect on ones salvation, which is eternal. (John 14:16; Ephesians 2:8,9; 1 Corinthians 12:3)

      7.  That the church is the body and bride of Christ.  That it is composed of all those who have yielded by faith to Jesus Christ as Savior.  That all members of the church are called to life, separated from worldly and sinful practices.  (Ephesians 1:22,23; 1 Corinthians 12:12-21; John 17:6-26)

      8.  That the supreme purpose of the body of Christ is to conform to the image of Christ and to preach the gospel to all people.  We believe in a strong emphasis in evangelism of children.  (Romans 8:29; 12:1,2; Proverbs 22:6; Matthew 18:1-14)

      9.  The future and bodily resurrection of both those who have by faith trusted Jesus Christ as Savior, called the “just”, and those who have not, called the “unjust”.  The just to be with God forever.  The unjust to eternal separation from God and eternal torment in the lake of fire.  (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:11-15)

      10.  The reality and personality of Satan who is the prince and power of the air.  Who is the enemy of God and all who by faith have been redeemed from sin in Christ.  He is a powerful adversary who deceives the whole world.  He will be finally destroyed by the return of Jesus Christ.  (Ephesians 2:2; 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 4:4; 2 Thessalonians 2:8; Revelation 20:10)
