If mainstream media limits itself to embedded coverage, who will be the world's eyes in conflict zones?

Rita Leistner is a passionate Canadian photojournalist with a deep sense of duty to cover conflicts on our behalf. From Iraq to Cambodia to Lebanon, she decided this was a job she simply had to do.

Ms. Leistner was recently in town for Festival X and joined me in studio to share her experiences as both an embedded and "unembedded" photojournalist.
