Freeda is a 18-24 month old female.
She has had a rough life for the last 6 months. From living under a car just to get attention and scraps, to ending up at the animal shelter where she did not receive enough food - Sterling really deserves her second chance!
She has just joined Rottie Aid and we are working on getting some much needed weight on her.
She had her first bath, and is settling down nicely in her new foster home.
We will post more info on this beautiful girl once we get to know her better - but one thing is for sure - she adores people and is very very sweet!
Lilly, after being hit by a car in her previous home, has unfortunately lost her leg. Dr. Ed at Downtown Animal Care Center did all he could, and even though skin grafting and a surgery was planned, Lilly’s leg was hurting her, and the damage was too severe. It was decided that it was most humane to remove her leg.

Lilly Update;
Lilly is in a great new foster home - awaiting her forever home! Come meet her today - she is great with other dogs, loves people, can’t take super long walks - but would make a wonderful companion!
Kiya was left in the backyard when her owner just moved out - and literally left her behind!
A kind neighbor took care of her and finally contacted us at Rottie Aid and we took Kiya into our rescue. Kiya is a very sweet girl that does not have many socialization skills - so can be intimidated by strangers when not in the company of someone she trusts. But she is a loving and wonderful girl that wants to please and adores her foster family. Kiya was diagnosed with having a torn cruciate (torn knee) and is awaiting surgery

Kiya Update;
Kiya had her TPLO surgery on 11/29 to repair her torn knee. She is going to take 8 weeks to recover - but would love to meet her new family while she heels.
Betty is a wonderful, sweet and mellow girl. She ended up as a stray and was taken into Rottie Aid so we could fix her Entropion in one eye.
Betty just recently had her surgery to fix her Entropion, and had her rear dewclaws removed (as sometimes floppy rear dews can catch on something and cause lots of pain).
Here is Betty recovering under the watchful eye of Downtown Animal Care Center staff after her surgery.
