Rottie Aid Rottweiler Rescue
and Placement Assistance of Colorado
Rottie AID is a 501C3 non-for-profit organization focusing on placement assistance, rescue, referral and education. Our primary goals include assisting Rottweiler owners with problems in keeping their dogs, whether it be housing, insurance or behavioral issues, re-homing suitable Rottweilers, foster care, and public education.
Rottie Aid is a combination of members of the Mile High Rottweiler Club as well as individuals already involved with Rottweiler Rescue. We hope to assist all Rottweiler owners and those looking to add a Rottie into their family with education, references and continued support from our knowledgeable volunteers.

WARNING!
Rottweilers are a large and massive breed of dog. They overheat easily - PLEASE monitor your dog’s play and do NOT let them overheat! If your dog does get hot (panting, foaming/drool, elevated temperature) DO NOT allow them to drink too much water - one cup, then a 1/2 hour break, then another cup. Put cold and wet towels on them, and place them into air conditioning. Injesting too much water can lead to Bloat (stomach twisting and cutting off blood supply) and is common in larger breeds of dogs
and it will kill your dog. For more info, go to
