Dogs Available For Adoption
Contact Rottie Aid for more information on these dogs. If you want to meet any of these dogs, you will need to fill out an Adoption Application prior to meeting them.
I’m a very sweet girl, meet me!@
Rottie Aid adopts dogs ONLY TO COLORADO RESIDENTS. All our dogs are spayed or neutered prior to going to their forever homes. Our dogs live in individual foster homes, Rottie Aid is not a kennel, shelter, nor do we have a central location. We are all volunteers that donate our time and homes to saving these dogs - so please be advised that the adoption process can take a few weeks (depending on the dog). Emailing your application is the fastest way - we focus on matching up a dog to the applicant.
Our adoption fee is $200 for dogs over 4, $250 for dogs 12 months to 4 years, and $300 for puppies under 12 months. We do not do “trial periods” for our dogs in applicant’s homes, and we do not adopt dogs to individuals that do not have a fenced in area for the dogs. Rottie Aid volunteers strive to provide the most complete profile of the dogs we are adopting out, yet dogs will react differently in different situations and with different individuals.
My name is Leala. I am a 3 year old female. I ended up as a stray at the shelter and Rottie Aid took me out as I was not very happy there - loosing weight and just laying on the floor awaiting my fate. As you can see, I am quite thin, and putting on weight and a lovely size small gal at 50 pounds.
I am a quiet girl and sweet girl. I am very easy going, and love people.
I would do fine with a nice polite male dog, but not cats - and just can’t wait to find my forever family! If you are looking for a perfect sized companion - that won’t drag you around, but is all Rottie (well, rottie-ish) - I am your gal!
I’m Trixie! and I’m a gem.
I ended up with an injury at the Denver shelter and ended up loosing my rear leg.
I’m doing great though! Love people, SO VERY MUCH - and do well with other dogs.
I am around 18 months old, crate trained, do great in the house, and am learning to use my three legs beautifully!
I am a wonderful girl - give me a chance!
See my before pictures on the “Special Needs Rotties” page.
I’m Zoey and I’m a 2 year old female.  I’m a tall, big girl without lots of love to give.  Until recently, I had been with the same family since I was 6 weeks old.  But, I’ve adapted amazingly well to my new foster family and would like a permanent family so I can start to really feel at home.
I love my new male companion who is also a big Rottweiler, but I have also been around small dogs and done well.
I absolutely adore people and want to do anything to please them. I was around children at my last home and did great with them.  But, I get a little scared around strangers and need someone who recognizes that I’m scared and can help me build some confidence in meeting new people.  Once I meet you, though, I’ll love you forever.
I am house trained and know the basic dog commands.  I would love to learn more if you are willing to take time to teach me.  Like I said, all I want to do is please!

I’m Kaylee. I am a 4 year old beautiful Rottie girl that was trained through Search and Rescue. I was adored by my previous owner, but due to financial hardship, she reluctantly relinquished me.
I have a huge desire to please, and really need to have something to do. I love playing ball - and a good game of fetching the ball in a nice backyard would suffice.
I have an amazing work ethic, but don’t have the best hips to continue with being a Search and Rescue dog - though they’re just fine for being a great companion and do not cause me any issues.
I like people, but don’t like people new coming up in my face - I need my time to get to know folks - as most rotties do.
I get along with other dogs, not sure about small dogs, and no cats.
I’m a gorgeous gal full of personality - please give me a chance at a great new life!

I’m Kiya - a 1 1/2 year old Female.
I have a sad story - but I know I’m due for a happy ending!
I was abandoned when my owner got foreclosed on. They just left me in the backyard - no food, no water. Luckily, the neighbor knew something was wrong, and helped me get to Rottie Aid.
I am very sweet - and shy. I just want to be loved and am very submissive.
I have not been around other dogs yet, but everyone thinks I’ll be OK - I’m still at the boarding kennel - as there was no foster home available for me.
But I am safe and sound, and can’t wait to see what my future holds!

I’m Lars. I’m a Rottie mix and only 6 months old. I’m not a big guy, and am just as sweet as can be. I’ll probably end up being 50-60 pounds when I’m grown up.
I love other dogs - and am all puppy - so need a home where someone will teach me good manners and take me to puppy classes to socialize me.
I am awaiting a foster home, so more will be posted as they get to know the wonderful me!
I’m Pheobe. And my life was turned upside down when after 6 years of living with my owner, no one wanted me and I was given to Rottie Aid. I have been with my “sister” my whole life - but most importantly, I just love people and really want to please, and just want a forever home where I don’t have to worry about being thrown away again!
My name is Molly. I’m 5 years old and have been with Pheobe in a home that I thought was forever.
I am a good girl, and need to loose a few pounds. I am great with other dogs, love people, and now have been around horses in my new foster home.
I am well behaved, have nice house manners - please consider me! I’m wonderful!
My name is ILSA. I’m a 14 month old S/Female.
I was a stray in New Mexico and ended up in a very high kill shelter. Because my sister (Lyza above) and I were so sweet, many folks assisted us in getting all the way to Colorado to Rottie Aid.
I am very sweet - and just want to please. I tend to get excited around new dogs, so need more social skills.
I am inquisitive and loving - and just can’t wait to finally be a permanent part of a family.
I’m Lyza. My sister, ILSA, and I, came from New Mexico to find our forever homes in Colorado!
I am 14 months old, and just adore people. I like other dogs, and would love a buddy in my new home to play with.
I really like people, and am awaiting for someone to come and make me a part of their family. I need more socialization, but I’m very willing to learn.
I am currently at the boarding kennel because Rottie Aid is out of foster homes - but I’m just thankful I’m alive!
Come meet me today - you’ll be smittened...
I’m wonderful Lilly!
I have had a lot of things happen to me in my short life of 2 years.
I ended up with Rottie Aid when an owner was unable to keep me, and was adopted to another family. Unfortunately, they were going through a divorce, and I was not their highest priority - and one day, I got out and was hit by a car.
Rottie Aid insisted I come back to them - and unfortunately, though every effort was made to save my front leg, I am now a beautiful girl on three legs.
I am great with other dogs, have lived with kids - and just adore people.
I can’t go for long hikes, but love to play ball and go for short walks.
Come meet me today - I think I’m perfect!
Hi There.,
I’m Gunner - and I’m around 6 years old.
I am a great guy, and though I have lived with a family for 4 years after being adopted from Rottie Aid - my family is no longer able to keep me so I am looking for my forever home.
I am good with other dogs, have never been around cats, and have been around kids as well.
I would do best in a home with someone that would be a good and fair leader for me.
I have basic obedience, am crate trained and know how to use a doggy door.
I had neck surgery a few years back, and am doing well now - and just need to wear a harness when being walked.
Please contact Rottie Aid for more info. I am still with my family, so they can provide you with lots of info on how great I am!
My name is Renata. I am a wonderful 18 month old female - possibly younger.
I ended up at the Shelter when I was dumped with my 9 mixed breed puppies!
I was a terrific mother and took great care of them until Rottie Aid took us in and my wonderful foster mom assisted me with weaning my kids.
NOW - I’m ready to become the young puppy girl I am! I love people - and just want to be with you - and I like the other dogs I’ve met - not sure about cats or kids.
I would love a home with another doggie playmate and someone that is looking for a gal that’s young at heart!
After all I’ve been through - I really need someone that just wants to love on me.
