is a registered non-profit society incorporated by the Province of British Columbia on December o7, 2005. The purposes of the society are to promote affordable housing, obtain, & secure land to construct affordable housing on Cortes Island, British Columbia, Canada.
It is our Mission to make affordable housing a reality on Cortes, as the lack of “affordable housing” is something we as people must address before its too late. There will be no more land to obtain! The time to act is NOW and it is our wish that you and the people you know join in the CAHS to help attain this goal. Your job is simple. Send a completed member request form and the $5.00 membership fee, with your support to the noted address and we will take care of the rest.
The CAHS Team will keep you up to date on what is happening behind the scenes and how we are progressing with our Mission, as well as upcoming events & fund raisers. We invite your input and suggestions through this site and at our regular mailing address at P.O. Box 233, Manson’s Landing, B.C. Canada, V0P 1K0. All submissions will be reviewed and considered, & some may be posted on this site, however please do not expect us to respond to every item as it would take too much time from the task at hand. “Getting people into affordable housing”.
