The 20th Anniversary

Back to the magnificent Four Seasons’ Biltmore Resrt...

If this were a wedding anniversary, we’d be celebrating the “platinum” year! Despite the world’s precarious economic situation, our attendance this year is higher than last year’s! And it’s no surprise, because the lineup we have for our plenary speakers seems fitting for commemorating this special event:

  1. 1Dr. James Burns, Senior Vice President and Head of Drug and Biomaterial R&D,
    Genzyme Corporation, USA
"Light Scattering and Product R&D at Genzyme"

  2. 2Professor Angela Gronenborn, Dept. Head Structural Biology and Rosalind Franklin Chair, University of Pittsburgh, USA
"Shining Light on Protein-Protein Interactions: Synergy Between Scattering and NMR"

  3. 3Professor Robert Grubbs, Victor and Elizabeth Atkins Professor of Chemistry,
    California Institute of Technology, USA
"Synthesis of Polymers of Precise Structures Using the Olefin Metathesis Reaction"

  4. 4Professor Bruce Hamaker, Director Whistler Center for Carbohydrate Research,
    Purdue University, USA

  5. 5Professor Anton Middelberg, Director Centre for Biomolecular Engineering,
    University of Queensland, AUSTRALIA
"High-Resolution Quantitative Analysis of Compositionally Homogeneous Biomolecular Assemblies That Encode Quaternary Complexity"

  6. 6Dr. Anil Patri, Deputy Director Nanotechnology Characterization Laboratory,
