I love living on my boat, and on lake union.  It is great,  no awesome. Central to most of Seattle and a great view for quick sails...

 

Today was the third time w/in 5 days that i took the boat out.  and i am getting a lot better with docking the boat.  I have singles handed docking several times.  I was going to today but the wind was a little stronger and blowing from the NE.  i was still able to get in without too much problem, but Sam my neighbor did help out.

 

One of the trick i have learned is a continuous dock line, attach it at the bow and stern.  Then lasso the first cleat and it stops the boat and hauls in the stern at the same time.  It works GREAT!
