The past few months we have said goodbye to many dear friends here in Japan. We have been here so long we watch a lot of folks come and go. Mishel was my longest friend here and she just moved to Naples, Italy. She will be missed terribly by our entire family! I have faith she will meet some amazing Italian man who happens to have the name DiDomenico and come to find out is my distant cousin and we will be FAMILY! (Sounds charming doesn't it?)

 

Anyway, Mishel was my best snow buddy too (no offense Geoff). I cannot tell you how many snow adventures we have been on - each one memorable and fun (although I couldn’t convert her to snowboarding she was still FUN to ride with on those funny sticks called skis).

 

So, the point of my story is we couldn’t let her leave without one last ADVENTURE. We planned a girls weekend and 6 of us headed to the mountains of Minikami about 4 hours away.  We had a BLAST and it seemed like a perfect farewell!

 

WE MISS YOU MISHEL! NIPPON won’t be the same without you!
