Gene Deal - Urban Folk & Blues
Since returning to school my music has been sorely neglected. There was a time when my reputation was that of being a musician. During that time I wrote prolifically and played often. Part of the result of that period was the recording of my first CD - Come Down Heroes. It has now been a few years since the disc was recorded. I never formally released it due to a what I call an 'overdose of natural causes'. A handful of folks have bootleg copies which I have occasionally made available. However, copies have managed somehow to find their way to odd corners of the world. The CD has been reviewed by radio stations in my home state of Tennessee and as far away as Italy. (Can you believe there's an Italian Blues magazine?) After repeated requests to update my old website, I have finally decide to make the entire CD available on this website. I hope those who find it here enjoy it. Who knows, maybe I'll even upload some of the live recordings.
