The purpose of this site is to share with others, the information I have gathered, since starting my genealogical journey back in 1996.  This site contains genealogy information on my own family as well as some other families I have “hanaied”. 

The surname database is temporaly down at this time.  I am trying out a new service provider, which will be ready in a couple of days.  In the meantime, you can try looking through the queries others have left at my “Dreambook”.  Post a query there and/or at the message boards at Hawaiian Roots & ancestry.com.  I also have a partial listing of the obituary index from 1929-1950, for the Honolulu Advertiser and Star-Bulletin newspapers that may be of help to some.

If your new to genealogical research, there’s a very good beginner’s guide at the “Forest For The Trees” website.  Another good place to start is the familysearch.org site run by the LDS.  But be warned!  You may find allot of conflicting information there.
