1. -Jacob Mills (35) with his wife Mary (30), children Samuel (8), Edward (7) and Abraham (2) arrived in the Port of New York on the ship Sheridan, August 18, 1845, which sailed from Liverpool, England. The family settled in Danville, Pennsylvania - an Iron mill town. Jacob and Mary would have at least 6 children. (Samuel, Edward, Abraham, Elizabeth, Mary and Jacob).
   

2. -Samuel Mills (1837-1914) married Amanda Crosby of Pennsylvania and had 6 children. (Eugene, George, Samuel, Simpson, Amelia and Mary). Samuel works as a “Rail Roller” in Danville at the Iron Works.
   

3. -Samuel Arthur Mills (1869-1911) married Ella J. Myers of New York and had 3 children. (Samuel, John and Ella). Samuel dies in New York at age 41, his occupation is listed as Clerk.
   

4. -Samuel Arthur Mills (1893-1959) married Marion Theresa Balluffi of Peekskill, NY and had 5 children (Mary, Samuel, Marion Patricia, Joan and Loretta).
