Team News:Summer Training has begun!
We’ve spent the past two Sundays on the trails in Norwich and Hanover beginning to build our summer base with some great over distance runs. More.
Next week, we will begin the full, summer training schedule of 4 days per week as follows:
•Sundays: OD trail run or mountain hike in local area or off to the Green and White Mountains. We’re looking forward to getting some great, long day hikes up in the Presidentials, Franconia Notch area, Camel’s Hump and other parts of the Long Trail and AT in Vermont and New Hampshire.
•Mondays: 5:00-6:30 or 5:00-7:00pm (foot practice or roller skiing)
•Wednesday mornings: 7:00-8:15am (Strength work and warm-up run)
•Thursday: 5:00-6:30 or 5:00-7:00pm (Roller skiing)
•consider what you are planning to do this summer - work, travels, training, relaxing, and enjoying time with family and friends. Think and plan how you will fit your summer dryland work into all of this. Remember, summer is the time to put in your endurance base, and you will need it come next season!
Book orders are in. If you would like more copies, please email Greg. To view a Ford Sayre Photo book pdf (large file size) of the photo book we gave to the coaches at the team dinner, click Here.
The team put in a 2 hour over distance trail run on Sunday, June 17th, through the hills of Norwich. The route started near the Connecticut River and wound its way through dirt roads and trails to the Gile Mountain fire tower. Click here for info on summer training.
