December 15: TD Banknorth Eastern Cup Season Opener Sprints, Nordic Heritage Center, Presque Isle, ME (JOQ, NRL, EC)
Event Info: 1K Freestyle Sprint. 15 second interval qualification 11:00am. 2:00pm Official heats for top 30 Overall Men, top 30 Overall Women, top 12 J2 Boys, and top 12 J2 Girls. Unofficial heats for Senior Men, Senior Women, Masters Men, Masters Women, Junior Men, Junior Women. Heated Team Wax Cabins are available for the entire weekend with individual locking keys for $50 for the weekend, first come first serve.
Registration: Registration: $25 per race for members; $40 for the weekend/ $35 for non-members; $55 for the weekend. Note: Masters will run at the end of the Men and Womens start list. There will be BKL races, start time to be determined. Organized by the Memphremagog Ski Touring Foundation.Race Director and Directions: rte. 5A, south end of Lake Willoughby, Westmore, Vermont. From interstate 91 north, exit #26 for Barton, follow 16N to the north end of Lake Willoughby, follow 5A south, race parking one mile past south end of the lake. From interstate 91 south, exit #23 for Lyndon, follow route 5 north to West Burke, then 5A to the top of the notch where you will find parking.
Registration: Registration: 9:00 am – 11:00 am BKYSL no charge, J2 – Masters $20 if received by 12/28/07. Day of race registration is $25. Payable to:Memphremagog Ski Touring Foundation (MSTF).

Directions to race site (the team will travel in the team van):
Take I-91 north to Lyndonvill (just past St. J., about one hour). Get off at Exit 23, (Lyndonville/Burke), proceed north on Rt 5, then take Route 5A north from West Burke. Use Parking Lot for the Mt Pisgah South Trail, 1/4 mile south of Lake Wiloughby. Walk or ski up the CCC road heading west from the lot; main ski trails start at the top of the hill.

Event Info: Freestyle Mass Start, 5K for J2's, 10km for Men and Women, Masters-only Wave Option. 10:00 AM start: J2 Boys. 10:30AM: J2 Girls. 11:00 AM: Men. 11:45 AM: Women. Note: There will be separate masters waves for men and women that skiers aged 30+ may opt into. These waves will start 1 to 3 minutes behind each "main" wave.
