December 15: TD Banknorth Eastern Cup Season Opener, Trapp Family Lodge, Stowe, VT (JOQ, NRL, EC)
Event Info: Sat: 1 km Classic Sprint. Qualification 10:00 AM, All women followed by all men. 2:00 PM Official heats for top 30 overall men (including J2's), top 30 overall women (including J2's). Separate heats for top 12* J2 Boys and top 12* J2 Girls, qualifying below the Official heats. *number of these J2 athletes advancing into these separate heats may change, based on how many J2's are entered - see NENSA rules for specifics. There will also be demo sprints with a focus on fun, that will be run after the main event is completed, for others who want to partipate!
Sunday: Skate Interval Start. 5km J2’s and women; 10km men. Optional Masters “wave” sign up available. 9:00- AM BKL; 10:30 AM- J2 boys; 10:30 -J2 Girls & women; 12:00- PM Men. For masters signing up under the Masters Category, masters men will follow open men and masters women will follow open women.
Registration: Registration: $30 per race per day for NENSA members; $55 for the weekend. $40 per race per day for non-members; $75 for the weekend. Organized by the Memphremagog Ski Touring Foundation. Race Director and Directions: rte. 5A, south end of Lake Willoughby, Westmore, Vermont. From interstate 91 north, exit #26 for Barton, follow 16N to the north end of Lake Willoughby, follow 5A south, race parking one mile past south end of the lake. From interstate 91 south, exit #23 for Lyndon, follow route 5 north to West Burke, then 5A to the top of the notch where you will find parking.

Directions to race site (the team will travel in the team van):
Take I-91 north to Lyndonvill (just past St. J., about one hour). Get off at Exit 23, (Lyndonville/Burke), proceed north on Rt 5, then take Route 5A north from West Burke. Use Parking Lot for the Mt Pisgah South Trail, 1/4 mile south of Lake Wiloughby. Walk or ski up the CCC road heading west from the lot; main ski trails start at the top of the hill.

Masters women will follow open women; masters men will follow open men.
