Scratch building a Bugatti Type 41 engine in 1/15th scale. Plans for this engine (and full chassis) are in the 2nd edition (Paper Back) of my book ‘Complete Car Modeller-2’.  The engine is built from aluminium, brass and nickel silver, and all the parts can be manufactured on a small model making lathe and milling machine, as shown here.
