JAMA, Fernando Garcia, Humberto Dionisio and Gary Mercer
In a second showing, Fernando Garcia’s Salida ( In Spanish- meaning the exit), one of the last pieces he painted before he died, was exhibited at PM Gallery during Art Basal Week, 2006. Deceased Cuban artist, Humberto Dionisio’s “ Apollo” water color was displayed publically for the first time. Both Fernando Garcia and Humberto Dionisio are documented at the Smithsonian Museum of Modern art collections, with papers, personal writings and drawings.
Artist JAMA showed “ Man listening to Janice Joplin , “Vietnam Grito” and Blue Man- Red Book. Fine Art Photographer, Gary Mercer showed two still life photographs. “ January Rose” a 43 x 63 inch framed photograph and “ Deviled Rose” a small framed photograph of a yellow rose.
