My entry in WFMU’s Rudy Giuliani Remix Contest.

The station’s great blog posted a sound collage of just some of the thousands of times that Il Rude has trotted out the phrase “September 11” in his campaign speeches, debates, while ordering soup, etc., and invited listeners to turn those snippets into audio art.

Here’s mine, with apologies to those four cheeky lads, who deserve better than to be associated with the man Jimmy Breslin so perfectly described as “a surly cadver.”

This is Giuliani, as ever, claiming 9/11 as his own, but with needed counterpoint from NYC Firefighters, Ground Zero workers and relatives of victims, all of whom know better than to buy into Rudy’s cynical scam.
