Shuffle off to....South Park

This was an odd shuffle, two Christmas songs came up out of the first five.  And one is really bad.

1.    Stomp Fever  -  The Denvermen   A pretty good surf guitar song, a la the Ventures.

2.    Santa Claus Is coming To Town  - Bruce Springsteen  A live version from 1980, Long Island, NY.

3.   Hung Up On My Baby  -  Isaac Hayes  Yes, Before South Park, before Chef, Isaac hayes did have a career!  “He’s one mean Muthah f... Shut Yo Mouff!”

4.    God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen  -  Rob Meurer    Imagine 1982...some geeky Devo-looking dweeb with a Casio keyboard cuts an album of Christmas music with his friend from the Audio/Visual club.  This would be what it sounded like!

5.    Who Are The Brain Police? - The Mothers Of Invention  If you’ve never listened to Frank Zappa before this isn’t the cut that’s gonna convert you.  It’s pretty strange and tries to be a bit artsy-fartsy. BUT, I DO highly recommend you check out FZ with or without the Mothers.  He was a genius.*

Oh yeah, if you haven’t checked out my links page, you can find it here, or at the top of this page.  I have a few links to other MP3 sites/blogs where you can find tons of stuff to listen to.  Of COURSE I don’t condone the illegal downloading and copying of these MP3s.  They are simply posted for educational purposes.
