The British Haiku Society was formed in 1990 to encourage the appreciation and writing of haiku in the UK.

With an international membership, the society nevertheless has active local groups, one of which has members living in Yorkshire and Lancashire.

This website is a way for these members to share activities with each other and with the wider haiku world.
