What is MissionFest?
It is a week when youth and adults from churches across the state (and even from other states) come together for inner-city service, Bible Study, worship, and fellowship -- building relationships in the name of Jesus Christ.  MissionFest will change you if you let it, and God will be in the center of all of it.

Who Comes to MissionFest?
Our hope is to extend the ministry of MissionFest to more denominational and non-denominational church groups and to school groups who are really trying to focus on community service.

Cost?
If you register and pay in full by May 1, cost is $200.  If you register after May 1, cost is $225.

A Brief History of MissionFest?
MissionFest began in 1991 with three churches and about 50 participants.  Since that time MissionFest has continued hosting as many as 325 participants, but more importantly, spawning approximately 10 events of its kind in other parts of the country.

Housing?
Housing for MissionFest is at Millsaps College.  A real sense of community develops through the week as we work, play, worship, share, and LIVE together!

Work Sites?
Work sites are all over the Metro Jackson area and include everything from day camps with inner city kids, to building with Habitat for Humanity, to Stewpot's soup kitchen, to visiting with older adults, etc., etc., etc.  While we can't guarantee participants will get their first choice of work sites, they do have the chance to request their preferred type of work.  We will be meeting with our work site groups in the evenings for reflection.
