Back to School Party in Madison On August 19th we will join with other churches for a Back to School Event at Liberty Park in Madison.  Brilla, a Christian soccer organization will provide interactive soccer drills and a guest speaker for the evening. Meet the Galloway van in the Malco parking lot at 4:45 p.m.  We’ll head over to Liberty Park as a group! Family Night @ UMYF is away! We’ll kick off the new school year on August 23rd by bringing our parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, or other significant adults with us to UMYF! Planting Peace On September 12th, we will participate in a community service project with various faith groups to landscape Habitat homes in Park View Place. Since we are doing landscaping instead of construction, all ages are welcome to participate. Please let Emily Sanford know if you are able to come and if you are interested in carpooling. We will meet at the church at 7:45 a.m. and will finish around 12:00 p.m. or you may meet us at 1438 Wood Street at 8:00 a.m. Junior High Spiritual Life Retreat Camp Lake Stephens September 12-13
Beginning on Saturday morning and finishing up at Sunday lunch, this retreat is an opportunity for fellowship and fun for students in 7-9th grades.  The speaker is Russ Polgrove who is the Junior High Youth Minister at the Orchard in Tupelo, Mississippi.  Lane Davis from Atlanta, GA will be the worship leader.  Cost is $65 and registration forms are available in the youth suite and RIGHT HERE ON THE WEBSITE!  September 2nd is the deadline for registration and payment.
