Music Festival Tee Shirt Design
Music Festival Tee Shirt Design
A project I had last year was to design the Raccoon County Music Festival Tee Shirt.
I live in Geauga County, and Geauga is a native American word meaning “raccoon”, hence the name of the festival which is held annually at the Geauga County Historical Society’s Century Village in Burton, Ohio.
I began with carving a woodcut of a raccoon’s face, then
made a print from the carved block. After the ink was dry, I scanned the raccoon print into my computer, and did the rest of the design in Photoshop.
The model in the photo above is my backpacking son, Shane.
