One of the many reasons I love to travel
Alright those of you that know me are aware that I don’t eat to live, I live to eat. I was told before coming here that if I liked steak, red wine and beautiful women that I would love Chile, and after one day that assessment is accurate.
Grischa and Tina have been incredible host and hostess and we went to a really nice Argentine Steak House for dinner last night. The meal was perfection with Filet Mignon, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, breads and wine. This place is heavenly!
There is a type of wine I had never had before and apparently the grapes only grow here in Chile and in Argentina, it is called Carmenere, and it is delicious!
Jake and Elaine arrive this morning and we are going to do some sight seeing today and head up into the Andes tomorrow to Valle Nevado.
The weather is awesome and looks to be good for the next several days.
