The designer, Stacie Joseph Dawes, mixes rustic elements of free-form turquoise, ocean jasper, rose quartz and other stones with an elegant accent of delicate, freshwater pearls and vintage filigree pieces. Stacie believes the stones selected have their own character and are filled with rich history which she searches out to find those rare pieces that exude colors and textures which is the cornerstone of funkie junk.
Stacie began designing buckles back in 1999 to enhance the balance in her life and exploit her artistic channel. Since that time, funkie junk has become a successful and well known brand throughout the world. funkie junk can be found in high-end shops throughout Canada, Japan, France and over 300 stores across America. In addition to her designing, she is a licensed psychotherapist, a wife, and continues to work on being a good mother of two.
