I’m not sure what is going on. . .  but it’s getting quite frustrating & way too time consuming. . .  It’s my iWeb program - that has decided that it’s on it’s own little vacation. Every time I go to ad a new post, it takes what seems like forever to open. & then the photos from the last post (& as of today the last two posts)  - are replaced with ugly grey boxes with a great big ‘X’ & a question mark in the center. When I try to replace them - I get the message that the photo’s are corrupt. . .  geesh. . .  I thought I had figured out the issue. . .  but it seems that there are bigger issues than this!

So, I will need to go to my Apple Store. . . but have you seen how busy they are these days??? I was just in there the other day - as I’m going to get an iMac for my office (I’ve always only had laptops) - before the end of the year (I need the write off!!!), & I had a a few questions for them.

While I was there - I learned that you can sign up for (okay - after you pay $99) for something called “One-to-One”, where you can come into the store for an hour each week - for the next 52 weeks  - & get one-on-one training, problem solving (‘er that would be me. . .& my iWeb! ) & general learning all that the Mac can do. If you do it each week - it averages less that $2 each hour. . .  not bad. They will also show you (or do it - if you bring in your computers) how to ‘sync’ your two computers - meaning that you can choose whatever files, music, photos that you want from one computer transferred to your other computer without having to copy anything. . .  Boom it’s done. . . (Love that!) I figure - with all the new things to learn. . . that is the way I will go.

I’m sure that my iWeb issue here will be fairly simple to fix - but really it’s a time issue right now. . . Because I know that once I get the mew iMac - it will take up so much of my time. I will have QuickBooks to install. . .  (& I’m told that will take at least the good part of a day to set it up. . . ) as well as the new Adobe CS3 (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator). I have CS2 - but with the new operating systems now. . .  it is already outdated! I actually said quite a few prayers that it wouldn’t konk out on me while I was finishing my book! I was a little scary a few times! (Let’s just say -I have never backed up so much in my life!)

So. . .  this big, ol’ long post to say that. . .  I’m not sure how often I’ll get to post in the next few weeks. I just can’t see posting very much without photos. . . ! I’m such a visual person - that to post & not have the photo’s to illustrate. . . seems yucky to me. I may once or twice . . . ‘cause I will miss you - but for the most part. . .  I will be communicating with you by commenting on your blogs! (at least to hose of you visit that I know of! . . . I know that there are a bunch of you who visit but do not leave a  comment (my “counter” tells me so!) - & that’s okay - I do understand, I really do - but I sure do wonder who you are - so feel free just to say hi!)
