The Real Show

Quilt Market is the place that designers, fabric companies, manufacturers & distributors come to show their newest releases - & the quilts & crafts used to show them off are all wonderful & it’s quite a show . .  but. . . for me, the real show is in the adjoining area. . . the quilt show.
Here there are quilts that always remind me of why I love quilting so much. To me, these quilts all tell a story - someone’s actual story. They range from traditional quilts to abstract, art quilts, but they all reflect someone’s heart, & I love that about a quilt show. And this quilt show is a doozey. . . with entries from around the world.
It’s so easy to stay so busy while at market - that you forget, or run out of time to see the quilts. . . but this last market, I was able to get the time to walk through. Thankfully it was at a time when it was very quiet - only a few others there & it was wonderful. If you want to see a lot more of the quilts & the award winners (as well as some from the exhibits that prohibit photos) - you can also go to Quilts Inc.’s website & they have so many more to see. But - these are some of the ones that grabbed my attention. . .  I hope you like them as much as I did.

Amazing. . . huh? The photos don’t really do them justice at all . . . they are all incredible - in their own unique way.
