Poor little Bo-bo. . . he didn’t have a chance. . . If you have been inside a pet store lately (& now Costco - I’m told), you’ve seen them. . . those funny long, skinny little stuffed dogs. . . (given the nickname Bo-bo via a national PetSmart commercial.) Dogs love them. . . they are lightweight - so easy to carry around. . . (even when the Bo-bo is twice the size of the pup!)
But, I must confess. . . it’s happened before. . . an ‘un-stuffed’ Bo-Bo body. . . a little tail piece here. . . a little ear piece there. . . & fluffy stuffing everywhere. . . What it is about these little guys. . . I have no idea. . . but Bailey seems to think it’s his sacred duty to ‘dis-arm’ them as soon as he can. Now don’t get me wrong - he loves them! When he first gets one - he runs all through the house (& yard - if he gets the chance) with glee with his Bo-bo. In fact his first Bo-bo (when he was only a few months old) lasted several weeks. . . But since then - each time each consecutive Bo-bo (we went through three) stayed intact was less & less. (sigh.)
But then . . . on an errand to my local PetSmart to restock on kibble & treats, I spied a new. . . seeming indistructable Bo-Bo ! In stead of the lightweight, fuzzy covering. . . these Bo-bos were made with a much heavier canvas!!! Oh goodie! - Bailey could have a Bo-bo again & this one would last!. . . .
. . . & I kid you not. . . not more than another 5 minutes later. . . I shot these photos of my little guy out in the backyard. . . Does he look like a little hunter or what?
He must be looking for more victims Bo-bos. . .
That’s my boy. . . ! (Oh and. . . Bo-bo’s are now a memory for this little guy. . . it’s Kongs from now on! That he hasn’t been able to tear apart. . . . . . . yet!)
The guilty party. . .
(Sigh. About five minutes folks. . . only 5 minutes!)
