Beyond Lovely. . .

I just have to show you the booth that wins the ‘Little Acorn’ award for the best booth EVER at quilt market. . . & that’s Meg Hawkey’s booth. Meg is the talent & force behind Crabapple Hill. . . my very favorite designer of needlework & all things pretty. I love the way that Elizabeth put it at The Late Bloomer, “. . . Meg specializes in pretty & has it ALL COVERED.” That just about says it all!
Anyway - I (& I’m not the only one. . . you should have seen the crowd at her booth. . . practically non stop!) was so drawn to her booth. . . not only for the fact that I absolutely love her designs (you must check out her website!) - but also because Meg is the “Princess of Pretty” & her booth is honestly a must see. It was so inviting & I so wanted to ‘move in’! It reflects Meg so well, as she is so sweet & welcoming! I wasn’t so good at remembering to take my camera when I could ‘break out’ from my booth - but I made a special trip to Meg’s (she was just 3 booths down. . . . in the “neighborhood’!) with camera in hand to be sure to get these pictures to share with you the loveliest booth at Spring Market!

Thank you Meg - for such a wonderful place to visit at Market (what a breath of fresh air!). . .  - for your wonderful designs (I can hardly wait to get the new quilt pattern (Heirloom Romance) when it is finished, & more of your beautiful new fabrics!
(. . . & I still want to move into the booth!)
