Soul Stirrer with embodied faith in action - Bruce Ledewitz is the author of, “Hallowed Secularism: Theory, Belief, Practice.”
 
He is Professor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, and is a recognized expert in the fields of criminal law and constitutional law.
 
In August of this year Bruce was a panelist at the Netroots Nation workshop, “A New Progressive Vision for Church and State: How I Learned to Accept ‘Under God’ in the Pledge of Allegiance and Stop Losing Elections.”  His provocative perspectives have been a catalyst for spirited debate from religious and secular camps.
 
Bruce is putting the finishing touches on a new book, “Higher Law in the Public Square.”

As an ecologist, Michael focuses on plant-animal interactions, particularly those associated with pollination.
Dr. Zimmerman also has a professional interest in science literacy in general and the evolution-creation controversy in particular.
 
In 2004 he founded The Clergy Letter Project, an organization designed to demonstrate that religion and science are compatible.  He is the author of “Science, Nonscience, and Nonsense.”

Soul Stirrer with embodied faith in action - –Paul Sullivan is the Executive Director of Veterans for Common Sense.  He served in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Iraq with the Army's 1st Armored Division during the 1991 Gulf War. 
 
From 2000 to 2006, Paul worked as a project manager at the VA, where he led a team who produced the quarterly Gulf War Veterans Information System report as well as many other reports related to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
 
In addition to his work at Veterans for Common Sense, he is the Chairman of the Austin Veteran and Family Advocacy Council.  Paul is a life member of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. Paul lives near Austin, Texas with his wife and two daughters.
