It has been a really long time again since my last post but I think it is a good idea to get everyone updated on the season. Phoenix Hagen now stands at 20-6 with only four games left. We are one game behind 2nd place currently and it just so happens we play the second place team Saturday. Basically this game is for all of the marbles... If we win, we are in really good shape because we would have the head-to-head comparison with the third place team and we would have the same records... if we lose, it would take Bayreuth losing 2 of the last 3 games to put us in second place. It is pretty much a do or die game and it doesn’t help any that I had a toe injury similar to Ty Lawson’s. WIth or Without me, our team is strong enough to win the game. I’ll follow up after the game!

I apologize for almost a month of missing BLOG entries...here is what you missed over the past weeks.

Phoenix Hagen 92 - MBC 95

We hosted 1st place MBC and lost 95-92... a game that slipped away in the final minutes... It was a tough loss because it puts us in a must win situation for basically the rest of the season... We responded by winning our last 3 games and we sit at 18-4 in a tie for second place. The top two teams in the league move up, so there is definitely a sense of urgency in Hagen right now.

I’ll keep you updated as the season draws to a close in less than 2 months...

Win in Lich!

Phoenix Hagen dismantled Lti Lich 99-59 in Lich. Like I mentioned previously, any win (especially on the road) is a good win for us. We have won 5 in a row and look to keep that streak alive against MBC (16-2, first place in the league) @ home on Saturday...
