CLUB YELLOWSTONE HOSTS GREAT SUMMER CONCERT
FP EXPANDS TO CENTRAL OREGON WITH PGA EVENT
Big Sky Mt.- Freddy Pink enjoyed a three day get-a-way to Big sky Montana last month where the band performed for the members of the all exclusive Yellowstone Club. The Club is home to celebrities like Jay Leno, Greg LeMond, and the Quayles. You get the idea. A very nice place indeed, and the audience was an absolutely wonderful down to earth group of people out to have a good time with family and friends. The band looks forward to future dates in Montana, and with a little luck, maybe we can hit Big Sky during ski season.

Sunriver Ore. Freddy Pink performed for the Peter Jacobs Open at Caldera Springs Golf and Country Club near bend Oregon the last week of August. The weather was clear and hot, and became very obvious in a short time that fans of Golf are also fans of rock and Soul music. They danced non-stop for close to three hours. One interesting point of working in the high mountain dessert is, it was ninety degrees during the day, but the second the sun went down the temperature dropped almost forty degrees.
bend was freddy Pink’s first foray into Central Oregon, and we look forward to performing there more in the future. Bend Oregon is home to Mount Bachelor Ski Resort, so maybe we will get booked there during ski season.

SUN VALLEY CONCERT SCREAMING SUCCESS
SUN VALLEY IDAHO. The boys recently returned from a date in Sun Valley Idaho where once again they lit up the crowd for an evening of fun and entertainment. Sun is a fabulous place for freddy Pink to work. Having performed several times in the valley we pretty much have it down to include the most scenic route from the airport, best restaurants, best breakfast etc. “Sun valley is a magical place.” says Gordon Yancey, the groups lead vocalist, who went on to say”. I’ve been skiing there since I was a kid, when we used to go on Coors Beer runs, bringing back pick
-up truck load of what we thought at the time was very special beer (stronger) that would fetch top dollar back in washington State, and would subsequently pay for our trip including lift tickets at the high-end resort. Perhaps it the high-mountain air or the soul of the Sawtooth Mountain range itself. “Whatever it is” says Yancey, “The audiences we have performed for in that area are among the most receptive audiences we have worked for. They go absolutely crazy, and they keep screaming for more”.
Freddy Pink will return to Sun Valley in November to perform for for the “30th Annual Sun Valley-Ketchum Firefighters Ball” taking place at Sun valley Lodge’s Lime light Room on November 21st.
The band has developed great relationships with several of the areas premier event planners and plans return trips to Sun Valley in summer of 2010. Now if we could just get down there during ski season.
