Tried out this Tex Mex joint I seen while walking on 5th ave. Called Chiquitita Mexican Grill (8321 5th ave. Ph# 718 238 3228) . I am always up for having food from any of these types of restaurants. The only thing I can say it reminds me of one of those Fresh Tortilla places with a expanded menu. The food was decent but if I ordered from a one of the fresh tortilla places I know I would’ve gotten a bigger portion. I did like the Fish taco they had. It was like having a fried Fish sandwich without the tartar sauce in Taco form. On the menu it shows it has a website but it doesn’t seem to be up and running yet. I might give this place another go... but it’s so hard when there’s a real deal mexican place called Las Margaritas in Bay Ridge that has a amazing selection. It actually might be a food addiction of mine. Every time I order from there the food is fresh and delicious. Also they have monsterous size portions so I and up always having leftovers. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water and tempting me to order it now!!! Anyways got to get back to doing nothing!!!

Went to the Knitting factory in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn last night to see Cave In.. They did a great job with the joint. I loved the way they made a window by the bar in the front section which is a perfect view of the stage. Still not as cool as the one that was in the city but anywhere nowadays that there is a venue for bands to play is worth it .... If you want to check out the show here’sssssss

So 2009 is almost coming to a close and I honestly don’t think I have done anything with this site in a long ass time. I’m not sure exactly why, but maybe I can blame it on some sort of lack of inspiration. I guess going to see A Family Plot last night brought me back down to the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn. I haven’t been down there for a while now and honestly I didn’t feel like I was in brooklyn anymore. This is the first time I felt that way after 35 years of living here. Kind of woke me up. I guess I was really in full hermit mode. So here we go again hopefully I’ll keep on throwing some new things on here as much as possible. I’m not sure if I’m gonna put up any of the stuff I had up previously ... maybe start off fresh again.
