Women’s Multi-Media Summer Workshop
Artist Instructors include: Michelle Weinberg, Jen Stark, Nereida Garcia-Ferraz, Dinorah de Jesus Rodriguez, and Sarah Michelle Rupert

Girls' Club presents a series of five hands-on artist-led workshops for women of all ages in digital and multi-media artmaking. Bring your video ideas, slide show projects, photos to be digitally altered and collaged to informal sessions to learn new techniques. Blogging, simple website design, using your camera, Photoshop, shooting and editing video, creating soundtracks, 16mm experimental film, simple animation - these are some of the topics covered.
Perfect for practicing artists seeking to expand their skills, creative individuals wanting to express themselves in new media, women of all ages invited to explore.
Teens are welcome! Discounts for students.
$30/session; $125/all 5 sessions

Art Fallout 2010
presented by Girls’ Club, Sailboat Bend Artists Lofts and 18 Rabbit Gallery

To celebrate the Broward County Cultural Division’s designation of October as a month for art, Girls’ Club will host Art Fallout in collaboration with the Sailboat bend Artists Lofts and 18 Rabbit Gallery as an occasion to support the production and presentation of contemporary art in the local community.
This event will call out South Florida artists and enthusiasts to participate as Girls’ Club will present an open call visual art exhibition. A panel of prominent South Florida arts professionals will judge the works and assign a variety of awards.
