  4. Old Ambrose was open to criticism, so too, am I. Please feel free to express your opinions and ideas that’s how we amateurs learn.
  5. Most of these oil paintings are from photos I’ve taken and some are copies of the Impressionists Claude Monet, Edouard Manet and Edouard Cortes while others are my interpretation of living contemporary artist’s whose work I admire such as Robert Peters and J. Lewis Bowker.
  6. I learned to paint as a child, quit when I became a teen and finished only two paintings in the next 55 years. After I retired I studied Impressionist Painting at Pima College and later at the Scottsdale Academy of Art. I paint only for my own enjoyment and to share it with you.
