Sterling Scholar

The Sterling Scholar program is directed at honoring outstanding students in subjects ranging from English, math and science to business marketing, and computer fields.  To be selected as a Sterling Scholar nominee, students must have extraordinary scholarship scores as well as service in leadership and citizenship opportunities at their high school.  The selection process and nomination of students as Sterling Scholar nominees are left entirely up to each high school.

Each year the Foundation raises monies to support the Sterling Scholar program which includes cash prizes awarded to the winners.  Many private individuals, local businesses, clubs and civic organizations help to support the Sterling Scholar program.
