I’m not sure I have many readers these days. My absence from my blog as well as the blogs of others may have made my readers dwindle away.
I feel like I go through periods where I have so much to say, I wanna blog 2 or 3 times a day but then there are the downer times where I’m lucky if I can squeak something out 2 or 3 times a month! I have Blogger Bi-Polar Disorder! Of course this debilitating disorder has nothing to my actual mood, but rather just my level of creativity.
This week will mark a large stride in the surrogacy. Yesterday we were lucky enough to meet my couple from California. They drove down over the weekend to enjoy the wonderful weather we’ve been having. We were able to spend much of yesterday hanging out with the kids and then we enjoyed an adult dinner where we had someone killer Thai food. We had a great time and got to know each other. I’m looking forward to traveling to them this Thursday for my first meeting with the RE.
I’ve also started my grad school application since I passed my Big Scary Math Test. Now I’m just finishing up my admission essay - the 3rd one in 2 years - and I think it better than the others. I will hear whether or not I got in during the second week of August. Fingers Crossed!!!
In closing, as most of my regular readers are aware, we’re adopting from Ghana sometime in 2009. Our agency (Adoption Advocates International) has a wonderful Ghana Coordinator who posted a horrible story today on her blog. Please read what she has to share, and give your prayers and support for the children of Eban House.
