News Flash: I love caffeine.  I love coffee, redbull, chocolate, and just about anything else that will give me that rush.  Oh believe me, I’ve tried to give it up;  When I was pregnant with  Lola I quit cold turkey and for 5 weeks I was the biggest raging b*tch in the whole wide world, so I caved.  I knew that caffeine and pregnancy didn’t mix but I was very careful to have only one shot of coffee a day.  Well, since I’m no longer pregnant, I once and a while allow myself to deviate from that one-shot rule and to have a double shot....but since I’m still exclusively nursing Lola we’ve all been noticing little issues in Lola with her sleep pattern and temperament.   I love my baby, and yes, I love her more than coffee.  So, I’m giving up coffee for a week to evaluate the caffeine's true effect on her.  Today is day number 4.  DAY NUMBER FOUR!   And the photo says it all!  

To add insult in injury, my kick of caffeine happened the same week Diesel decided to come down with a really weird cold!  Coughs, Runny Nose, FEVER!  Last night it was up to almost 103*.  I say it’s weird because he has a great appetite, is full of energy, and isn’t wheezing (which is what his normal colds come with.)  You know, I feel bad saying this but Diesel is THE SWEETEST kid when he’s sick.  He’s full of please’s, thank you’s, and is just all around a nice kid.  I really wish he were like that all the time; not sick, just polite and adoring.  The other kids are making up for his good behavior though.  The baby is fussy and has a stuffy nose, and Kinh is going to get the sickness any day because she insists on getting in everyone’s faces.  

The illnesses coupled with the lack of coffee and the fact that my grad school application is due tomorrow, has led me to be VERY behind on blogs and blogging.  I hope to get around to everyone’s blogs this weekend.  I’m wondering what everyone is up to!

I want to thank all you guys for all your sweet comments about the purse I made.  I’m going to make another one this weekend....I’ll post pics when it’s done.  I’ve looked in Etsy and are thinking about it.  I just don’t know what I would charge because they’re so time consuming to make.
