FORT WORTH, TX
This is the beginning of a new season in our lives. We moved to Fort Worth at the beginning of October. Matt hopes to pursue a PhD at Southwestern Seminary in Biblical theology (pending acceptance into the program!), and recently accepted a job at the Gospel Union Mission, working with the homeless and underprivileged in this city. Jordan is enjoying being a stay-at-home mom for the time being. Kaiya turns two at the end of November. She says new words almost everyday and really enjoys playing with other kids. She also loves to sing, and says “good girl” when her mom successfully acts out the motions to Kaiya’s version of “if you’re happy and you know it.” We moved into campus housing, and so she has 20 new friends and a huge playscape out the front door. We miss our friends and church in Wheaton very much, but are grateful to be settled in a place that feels like home.
