Don Eaton’s Biography
Don Eaton’s Biography
During a 36 year career as a Naval Officer, Don Eaton devoted much of his free time to photography as he traveled worldwide. He originally pursued Black and White photography as a means to do Black and White ink drawings but fascination with the photos themselves took hold and he never looked back.
As his Naval career progressed his free time became more limited but he managed to enter and win prizes in photo events and art shows. He also has had some work published in Naval Institute Proceedings and has done limited commercial work.
Three years ago he converted to digital capture and processing. He currently uses all Nikon equipment including a D2X and various Nikon lenses. He process his work on a Macintosh G-5 quad with a 30 inch monitor using photoshop CS3. All prints are on Epson archival paper and printed on either an Epson R2400 or Epson PRO 3800.
