Fiona Kam Meadley
Fiona Kam Meadley was born in Malaysia and lives and works in Gloucestershire, England. She studied law and worked in Africa and Asia for fifteen years as a development worker, an experience which informs her artistic practice. She works with video and participatory processes.
She initiated War & Peace 06 and 07, a touring programme of artists’ films, with discussions, exploring the links between conflict, freedom and justice.
Recent projects include:
Free or Fair? a contemporary art intervention for Human Cargo, an exhibition at Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery, curated by Zöe Shearman.
Bowls is a commission for Hybrid for their exhibition Fragment at Hotel du Vin in Birmingham in January 2008.
