In 2007, I celebrated my 30th Anniversary as a professional musician since I started in 1977 as a bandleader of the Club 392 Quartet. I was only 16 years old. Since then, I have enjoyed a wonderful career with all its joys and all its challenges. I could not have done it without you, my friends and supporters. On 29th May 2006, Jeremy Monteiro was appointed Professor & Visiting Chair of Jazz at LASALLE-College of the Arts in Singapore. Prof. Monteiro is the 1st Singaporean Professor at LASALLE.




Jeremy was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts in the UK on 15/09/2006. Well-known Fellows of the RSA are Nelson Mandela & Stephen Hawking. Past Fellows include Benjamin Franklin, Charles Dickens, Gugliemo Marconi & Yehudi Menuhin
