Michael Joy

Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec and currently lives in Vancouver, BC. Graduate of the National Theatre School of Canada. Started his career designing in the theater, television commercials and films. He has worked on plays and movies across Canada and a few places around the world. He has been nominated for two Geminis (Best Television in Canada), won two Leos (Best Television in BC) and in both 1998 and 2008 an Emmy nomination for Best Production Design Movie or Miniseries (Joan of Arc, Tinman). He is a member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, the DGC, IATSE 891 and ACFC.
