Welcome to UNM and the Freshman Academic Choices (FAC).  These are programs that we design exclusively for 1st time, beginning freshman.  We encourage each freshman to choose one FAC.

The Fall 2009 semester will provide you with unique academic choices for you to participate in.  The Living & Learning Communities are a well-rounded academic and social experience for you to become involved in during your freshman semester at UNM.  You must apply for Housing at housing.unm.edu, AND apply to the LLC program.  The LLC application is available on the link above.  This site and our main FAC website at www.unm.edu/~freshman  will be updated throughout the spring as information becomes available.

We welcome you to UNM and invite you to become involved in and take advantage of being involved in these academic choices.
