Why Paddle Ball? What’s the story on these guys? While attending the Awards Banquet of the International Juggling Association’s annual convention in Lexington Kentucky in July of 2008, Ashton Freidenberger, Randy Cabral and Steve Langley came to the realization that there was not a US Paddle Ball Team in place to honor, preserve and represent the history of the ancient art of Paddle Ball. It was suggested, seconded and witnessed by all present at the table that the 1st ever US Paddle Ball Team be formed right then and there. These 3 men (Ashton, Randy and Steve) represented some of the best, the most advanced, and most cutting edge in modern Paddle Ball techniques. It was they who decided to join their paddles together and form the first US Paddle Team on 7/19/2008 It is their sworn duty to preserve the honor and history of Paddle Ball both as an art form and as a sport. In addition, they vow to use their Paddle Ball skills for good and not for evil.
