Vincent will be ninety-four this June 24th. After returning from a reading at Beyond Baroque in Venice CA, he took the wrong medication, an Ativan/Valium cocktail, fell, cut up his arm and ended up in the hospital for two weeks. The first week was tough but he has came out of it and is now recuperating at Den Mar.
You can write him at Den Mar Nursing and Rehabilitation Home, 44 South Street, Rockport, MA. For all those who know Vince, he told me he likes being “in Denmark” everything is taken care and he has peace. He is well cared for and that is a relief.
I will be posting snippets from my visits along with poems that he writes. Bookmark this site, it’s bound to be interesting.
