A tribute to Pope John Paul II...
The moments that I always keep in my heart....
“In March 1983, I arranged the altar where the Pope John Paul II gave mass on his visit to El Salvador. I also composed a song called “Todo Tuyo”(All Yours) especially for the ceremony, and designed a special personal stole for the Pope. I have always been a fervent admirer of the Pope and this was one of the greatest moments in my artistic career.

San Salvador's Metropolitan Cathedral...
"The Catholic Church from El Salvador asked me to design the facade for the Cathedral. This has been one of the most inspiring artistic moments of my life, cause it meant to me that I was putting my art on a very important symbol of my country, with a huge historical value. It was a work that took us (me and a group of artisans) around 1 year to finish".
“Son of Outstanding Merit of The Republic of El Salvador”...
"On the 18th of February 2004, the Government from El Salvador gave me and other 8 artists the highest distinction that can be given to any citizen of my country (“Hijo Meritísimo”-”son of Outstanding Merit”). It was a great honor and a historic moment since it was the first time that the art was officially recognized by the government".
